Parenting a Neurodivergent Child Part 1

a.k.a. Alot of the standard parenting advice does NOT work.

Happy Mother's Day!  I hope it has been a lovely day for you.

Parenting is a tedious, sometimes thankless job.  But today, the spotlight is on Moms everywhere.  We appreciate you.  We see you.

Especially those moms who are supporting and raising a Neurodivergent child.  No, there is nothing "wrong" with your child.  But, they are a proverbial square peg in a round hole by society's standards, which makes the motherhood journey for these gifted kiddos lonely at times.

Hit REPLY and Tell me: Are you raising a neurodivergent child?  I would love to hear more about your experience.

Today, I want to share with you a "real talk" podcast interview with Sarene Leeds, host of "Emotional Abuse is Real" and freelance copywriter at www.sareneleedswrites.com where she shares her story about parenting a neurodivergent child, striving toward a work - life balance, and some of the changes and challenges they have overcome so far. Enjoy!
